So I turned 16 in August but with exams the week (thank god they are over) and the general craziness of life I had to postpone my birthday celebrations till September. Now that all birthday shenanigans are over I can finally do a blog post! So without further ado here are the things I received from friends and family for my birthday!
I am super exited to try out the Toni & Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray - I've heard loads of great reviews and people raving about this product so I am really exited to try it out.
I am also super excited to try out Soap & Glory Hand Food - I've been using this ever since I've got it and I think I can say this is the best hand cream I have ever used. As it claims, it is non-greasy and very hydrating and sinks in straight away which is a must have in a hand cream for me. It also smells delicious (as do all Soap & Glory products) and it literally is food for the hand as it is super nourishing.
From Kit Cosmetics I was given this bright orange nail polish in the colour Hip Hop (couldn't find the exact colour but they have some beautiful colours that are worth checking out). The colour is very vibrant and dries very quickly and I am very impressed with this! I also love the colour as even though orange is my favourite colour I don't seem to have any orange nail polishes. Can't wait to wear this one more. I also received this Nail Care Cube. At first I didn't think the file was rough enough to do anything but it works really well and I am excited to start taking better care of my nails.
I was also given this Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Colour in Bamboo Shoot. I think this colour would be super cute for a French manicure or just to wear to school.
I also received a TopShop voucher which I am super excited to use as they have some super cute things in store and online at the moment. So I think a post exams retail therapy trip is coming up soon!
A friend also got me one of the Oxfam Unwrapped Gifts for me (I think they are available from Oxfam stores worldwide not just in Australia). I think this is such a thoughtful present, they have so many things you can choose from so if you're ever stuck for gift ideas I think this is a great idea. I really love Archie my Oxfam Goat!
These were my two main presents from my family. They got me this Tiffany & Co Necklace which I I absolutely love and this gorgeous Thomas Sabo charm for my bracelet.
I also was given this Vintage Bambi Deer from my best friend which I think is absolutely gorgeous. I know mine was purchased off eBay and it was quite tricky to find. There is also one available for sale here.
I got this super cute toiletries set from Victoria's Secret which I am excited to use on my next trip abroad.
You may also notice in the first photo that I received two other little packages. A box of Guylain Chocolates - the shells are my absolute favourite! I've nearly finished them all.... :/. There is also a Benefit Eyeshadow Palette that came in a rather large (but pretty) box which I will be doing a review of soon so I didn't want to feature it twice. It is Benefit's World Famous Neutrals - Easiest Nudes Ever and is a really gorgeous eye shadow palette with gorgeous colours I can't wait to try out.
Overall I had a wonderful day on my actual birthday and a lovely dinner with my friends. So thank you to everyone who made my day so special! :)
