I can't believe 2015 is over - it seems to have flown by. It was definitely a challenging one, with final exams and finishing high school. It's been so lovely having the last month to relax and rest after studying, but this little break seems to have flown by too and suddenly it's 2016.
I'm not really one for new years resolutions...I find that I never stick to them. Goals, however, seem more realistic. One of my goals this year is to be more tidy. I'd heard about Marie Kondo's magic approach to tidying and when I saw this gorgeous edition of her book 'The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying' I had to get it. I'm a very organised person, in fact, I love organising! However I always seem to manage to get my room into a mess and am forever tidying it up. I'm sure people can relate. I often find this really frustrating and disheartening and it can seriously affect my mood in a negative way.
I read Marie's book over the Christmas break (it was a super easy read so it didn't take long) and my goal is to follow her advice. A lot of it makes so much sense, and I can't wait to follow her guide and be more tidy. There are some things I don't think I entirely agree with, but I think that's ok. I think I've got some good advice out of it that will help me keep my room in order - fingers crossed!
Have you read 'The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying'? What were your thoughts?
